  • Handicapped Flags for cart riders
  • Golfers with physical challenges that necessitate the use of a handicapped flag, need to observe the certain cart use guidelines. Golfers requesting handicap flags should have a state issued full or partial disability permit, or a note from their physician indicating the disability information.
    1. Carts must be kept a minimum of 30 feet from all greens.
    2. Carts must be kept on path around tee boxes.
    3. Carts must remain on the path beginning at the gold stakes on #10 and the entire length of hole #11. White tees may be utilized on #11 to gain access to a teeing area. Please note, the steep incline on #11 tee box area and extending the length of the hole is potentially hazardous which mandates the cart path only restriction for all golfers in these areas.
    4. Do not cut behind greens in fringe areas and inside tree-line areas around greens. The basic principles of getting the cart on or near the path at the gold stakes should be observed.
    5. There are occasions when carts will be restricted to cart path only and handicap flags cannot be issued, determined on a daily basis, due to course conditions.
    6. Failure to abide by these guidelines, by decision of the Board of Directors, may result in suspension or loss of handicap flag privileges.
